Naturally, it's hard to imagine how the ultra-violent nature of Doom will fit with the more child-friendly tone of Ultimate, however, the lack of gore in MemoryNova's victory animation alone shows that the possibility might be more attainable than some may think. Bethesda does have a solid connection with Nintendo, especially as many of the company's biggest games have made their way to Switch, with Doom 2016 appearing on the console and a Doom Eternal port currently scheduled to follow suit. Rumors surrounding the addition of the Doom Slayer to Super Smash Bros Ultimate have swirled ever since the beginning of the game's DLC roster announcements, with many toting his name as a possibility to make an appearance in the game. Alongside this animation, the Super Smash Bros Ultimate announcer shouts "The Doom-Slayer wins," with that sentence alone feeling oddly fitting. He then stands before his two defeated foes, holding his shotgun in one hand and raising his other arm in victory. He then leaps back into the air, brandishing a shotgun while mid-jump, before landing on an imp and crushing it.
